Many people are surprised to learn that veterans and their surviving spouses may be eligible for the VA Aid and Attendance Benefit, which offers monthly payments to help cover the cost of senior living, home care, or nursing care.
Who Qualifies?:
- Must have served at least 90 days of active duty, with at least one day during a wartime period
- Must meet specific medical and financial requirements.
- Gather military discharge paperwork (DD-214), financial documents, and medical records.
- Work with a VA-accredited professional to ensure a smooth application process.
